The 8th Day QoL Update
After the 7th day of making this game I was ready to be done with this cute little project. Especially since this was mostly a way to start game development and practice uhh 'art'. Since I have little to no experience with either. Then for whatever reason I decided to spend another day adding some QoL and bug fixes. Which are listed below! So yeah, game dev.
- Expanded and improved the 'Tips Menu' so that it is easier to navigate and features gameplay questions in case someone skipped the tutorial.
- Added images to the 'Events Tips Menu' so that players have an easier time understanding what events are being referred to.
- Made it so that enemies "Miss" instead of hitting for "-0".
- Phone events can no longer potentially 'kill' the player.
- Made it so that all of Tutrial's conversations are available from the start instead of unlocking them every couple days.
- Made Items slightly more powerful on some animate objects.
- Completely redid how Physical and Verbal stats affect damage.
- Started tracking some basic stats and then added a way to check some them.
- End of day gold gifts now give the player slightly more gold.
- Changed Shiny Plant's health stat.
- Fixed and edited various typos and other weird textbox and menu things.
- Fixed the credits screen image.
- Turned the "Music" you can buy in the store down.
- Modified the Cheat Menu so it's less bad.
- Added a web version.
- Modified the 'Ask How They Are Doing' effect.
- Modified various damage resistance values for the animate objects.
- Fixed end of day not giving gold.
